Spiritual pathways is to achieve eternal blissful life. Linking the common elements between the human’s life and universal life makes possible to attain it. Saint vallalar says “Whatever exists in the universe, it do exists in our body” and knowing the way to link this will bring deathless body. Many spiritual leaders provoked the spiritual light on them, when the faith on this unrealistic world is diminished. What you see in this world is not real? What you believe true, it is not true? So why is this life and what for? This way so many questions keeps arising.  The universal answers are unknown and not defined.  Siddhar’s literature says, ” the person who know about or attained the blissful life will never talk on how it is, those who blabber didn’t know the life” Experience should be always individualistic. To demonstrate in a modern way, spiritual experience is like hearing music in a headphone by yourself, not putting in a loud speaker to let everyone hear.

There is a saying by Vallalar  ” No place in materialistic world for the ones who doesn’t have have money and No place in spiritual world for the ones who doesnt have mercy”.  In general saints want to be away from materialistic life. That is the reason saints do meditation in caves, forest and mountains. The figure above shows a place in Bhutan located at 10000 feet high from the mean sea level. Still monks do meditation there and it is closed for public. Journey through the spiritual path will give unique experience. People take many births to understand the life process and take years to attain the blissful life.

Bhutan – one of the blessed serene land in the world

Bhutan is a small kingdom blessed with serene environment. This country is gifted with beautiful nature and mounted in Himalayan range, one of the high altitude nation in the world. Every mountain has its own history and takes back to thousand years of history. Buddhism is inbuilt with every Bhutanese and devoted to the religion. Taksang, a temple/monastery located on the hill top in paro valley where Guru Repunchaye prayed there and there are so many histories told in books about this location. Not only the mountains height speak the greatness, offcourse culture, religion and people’s attitude speaks the real height of the country.

Bhutan is the place where less tourist visits in a year. One should be very fortunate to visit this place and to explore the blessed land. Mind goes to ZERO in this country. It is my personal feeling that when you live in this country, your mind absolutely gets peace and aggressiveness melts down. To know the real height of your mind and absolute spiritual depth, visit Bhutan and stay in a monastery. Live their for a month to relax your mind.

This is the country where they have Gross Happiness Index. People are filled with happiness and it is listing in top for Happiness Index. There are lot of things which everyone should learn from Bhutanese as well as Bhutan

It is a great wonder that people are so united and bonded with Buddhism in South East Asia. Even though Buddhism started from India, it has been well established and taken by countries in South East Asia.

Rameshwaram, tiny island located outside Indian mainland in Bay of Bengal sea. This place has some strategic importance because of  historical and religious point of view. This place is serene land with spectacular views over the beaches. Fishing is the main livelihood activity. Tourists are also enormous and local community is prospering with increasing visits of tourists.  Between Danushkodi and Srilanka, there is a visible mud like formation in the sea which makes the sea very shallow along the formation (like a footpath or bridge), clearly visible in satellite images. Hindu’s consider this is one of the sacred place and there are beliefs like one should go to varanasi and followed visit should be made to Rameshwaram.

Ramanathapuram temple is master piece of Indian achitectural work. It is really amazing, how all the construction materials are carried from mainland to island for building the temple, when there was no bridge or road in olden times. Temples in Tamilnadu are always treasures because of architectural significance and the way they got constructed and moreover life of the work, standstill for generations. Rameshwaram temple has twenty two wells. Irrespective of its coastal location, water from the well does not exhibit salt water content and each well has different taste of water.  It is belief that  if one takes bath with water from all these wells, he/she gets blessed and life becomes meaningful.

Environment is getting spoiled with the increased religious faiths and number of tourists. There is a place where people take bath in the beach before entering into temple. This place is accumulated with wastes both recyclable and degradable. Especially plastic covers, clothes, shampoo packs etc., making the place more dirty and pollutes the water as well as the land. It is very sad to note the  sacred places are increasingly prone to environment pollution. Pray for the situation to get changed in all sacred places.

Prospering community in Sangklaburi

Livelihood is key for the prosperity of the community. Many places, far from urbanization are still under developed. There are people who know how to shape their business even without much investments. Sangklaburi itself a small town without much developments, but enriched with traditional and cultural things. Wooden things in this city houses, bridge, utensils, carts, temples etc., shows the richness of the wood availability in the region. You can expect some difference in people attitude, race etc., since this city is bordering Thailand and Myanmar.

The above picture shows the entrance of the village. It is amazing there, whereever you go in a Buddhist country, you can find a temple even in small village. Hardly 100 to 200 people lives in this village, still it has all basic ammenities. Temples and houses are built by wood. People depend on forest products for their livelihoods like mushroom, fruits and woods. Primary livelihood income source comes from tourism. Elephant ride and Bamboo rafting are providing good income source for the local people. Also this place is crowded only in weekends and festival holidays. Even childrens are involved in livelihood activities.

A way to achieve this world of wealth is selfsatisfaction. Selfsatisfaction can lead us to content and prosperous path in this world. So lets be selfsatisfied!!…….

Are you aware of the relationship between Altitude and Happiness? It has been identified roughly as a rule of thumb that people at a higher altitude are generally happier than those at lower altitude. If you look back into the history you can find proof of the former statement. We can find records of uphill population with lower crime rate. This is possible inspite of the improper roads, infrastructure and limited means of luxury. Offcouse as of date there are no solid proofs or evidences to support this fact. The best examples being the countries Bhutan, Tibet located along the Himalayan range. You can feel it in places like Ooty, Kodaikanal too. Don’t you realize the mysterious effect of nature controlling human mind? Feel like moving to uphill!!…Lets know more on this.

Many studies identified that more number of people will migrated to live in coast, that is density of population in coastal cities will be getting increased. So, why we are fascinating towards luxury cities in busy and congested life? Live and lead a happy life with nature, or where ever you are….. Climatic factors might be also a hidden reason behind this. High altitude regions are having pleasant temperatures throughout the year, more over they get their necessities for their day today life and this along with nice weather makes the person mind pleasant to lead a happy life. so let us learn to live happy life from mountain people.
